HAHAHAAAAAAAAA OMG I FINALLY FINISHED SOMETHING!! *dies*

I always thought those looping background things I often see on Japanese fansites were awesome, so yeah, thought to try this out. This isn't as good, of course, BUT I HAD FUN SO STFU. XD I can't do backgrounds for shit either (still, after so many friggin' years, I still fail it) so yeah. Simple background for you. =P ...AS LONG AS IT WORKS.

And yeah I totally ship Shinji/Rei as a fluff pairing. (I'm into shounen-ai, but somehow I reaaaaaaally cannot see Kaworu/Shinji happening, no matter how much I've exposed myself to it >>; )

Also lol yeaaaaah sorry for the giant-ass image. It "works" if your monitor's on 1086 x 768, because then you'd have to scroll left and right to see both Shinji or Rei, but not both at the same time. Also I got a little too happy doing the WIP screenshot so yeah HAVE FUN, DIAL-UP USERS. XDD;; (I'm really sorry.)

gaaaaaah I really shouldn't be THIS excited over getting an image done, but it's been so damn longgggggg OTL

Ooh, this is really pretty *A* I love the looping thing, that's so cool how it lines up seamlessly! And the clouds are gorgeous, the clever use of simplicity is perfect for the whole piece :D Awesome job!

I gotta admit, it took me a second to realize that the image wrapped at the sides. ^^; Definitely an excellent way to express the theme, and an interesting contrast between the apparent speedily-constructed background and the more detailed, refined characters. I also like the faux-cinematic effect created by the black bars. :D

The wrap-around effect looks great; I'm always amazed by how seamlessly people can make these. :D

This picture makes me happy in its "simplicity" and fun colours. :33
And the text inside the heart fits perfectly with the image.

The actual image [as seen in the "explanation" link] looks so good. :D
It looks perfect for a fun website header.
